Please tell our readers a little about yourself.
I am from a very small town, but I've been places, so I don't have a small town mind, or think that a small town way is the way of the world. By being from a small town, true love can be hard to come about, if you don't find it at a young age, not to say this is true for all, but true for me. I am single. The reason I never left this area was because I had a very good job. I never thought the day would come that it would shut down.
Could you tell us a bit about your book and why it is a must-read?
My book “Food for Thought” is a book giving you another way of looking at things, it's like your friend giving you advice about a relationship that's not working and you need to leave it, but want to stay, or leaving a relationship that you need to work out. It's about how to love unconditionally, it's about loving yourself. It's about being true, having hope, staying patient, being a believer, having a dream, but most of all it's about love.
My book “Love Letters” is about being in love, and falling out of love, just to find true love once again.
What inspired you to write your book?
I just wanted to express myself with the foundation being about love, the up's and down's, but most of all never giving up on love.
What was the most challenging aspect of writing your book?
The hardest part is getting my editing right. Wanting what I am writing to get into the minds with understanding.
Do you have any unique or quirky writing habits?
I write as it comes to me. I don't push it I let it come to me, and once it comes, I can flow with it.
How did you come up with the title for your book?
I came up with “Food for Thought,” thinking about giving food to the mind.
I came up with “Love Letter,” because I love to write love letters.
Is there a message you want your readers to take away from your book(s)?
Be true to yourself, let no one bring fake feelings to you, have control over yourself.
Do you have any advice for the yet-to-be-published writers reading this?
Write, write, and rewrite.
What are you working on now?
I am working on “Two Families Love,” and yes it's good.
What is your preferred method to have readers get in touch with or follow you (i.e., website, personal blog, Facebook page, etc.) and link(s)?
