Please tell our readers a little about yourself.
I am working as an Information Technology consultant. I am from Vatakara, Kerala, India. I have published books on website designing and blogging. Both of them are published by Amazon.
Could you tell us a bit about your book and why it is a must read?
My book “Mega Book of Website Designing” is an absolute must read for Information Technology professionals and website designers. I have written the book in a very simple language and I believe that it makes my book stand out from the rest. Anyone planning to build a website will immensely benefit from my book. My book features flash website designing, Joomla website designing, responsive website designing, e-commerce website designing and WordPress website designing. “Mega Book of Website Designing” is recommended for anyone who wants a feature rich website.
What inspired you to write your book?
I was always passionate about becoming a published author and the success saga of self published authors inspired me to write a book. I am passionate about providing high quality educational materials that will help people quickly learn new technology.
Where is your favourite place to write? Do you have a special hangout or any writing rituals?
My home is my favourite place to write. I don’t have any writing rituals and I write whenever I get time. I spent one to two hours per day on writing.
What is the most surprising thing you learned about yourself while writing your book?
I found that it is very easy to write a book on technology topics since I am well grounded in Information Technology topics.
What do you find are the most rewarding aspects of being an author?
I believe that name and fame associated with being an author are the rewarding aspects. Being an author positions ourselves as an expert in the field and it is an integral part of career branding.

Norman Vincent Peale and Shiv Khera
On a more personal note: Tell us a little bit about your “real” (non writing life)-family, job, hobbies etc
I have been working as an Information Technology consultant since 2010. My family consists of father, mother and sister. Reading and watching cinema are my hobbies. I read books on Information Technology, self help, personality development and travelogues.
Who is a creative person (not a writer) who has influenced you and your work?
Former President of India Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam
What advice would you give to aspiring authors who may be reading this interview?
Aspiring authors should take advantage of the great self publishing opportunity offered by publishers like Amazon. Being a published author adds credibility to the career profile of an individual and it brands you as an authority in the subject.
What’s next for you? What are you working on now?
I am passionate about becoming a columnist on Information Technology topics.
