Sports betting has surged into a multibillion-dollar industry. However, many bettors find themselves caught between volatile odds, unpredictable outcomes, and systems designed to keep them at a disadvantage. Amid these rising concerns about gambling habits and fairness in betting markets—especially within a sport as chaotic and human-driven as MMA—ProSchmoBets has emerged with a mission: to level the playing field. By combining real-time data extraction, ethical AI practices, and hyper-specialized predictive modeling, the team behind ProSchmoBets is challenging the norms of how fight outcomes are analyzed and forecasted. We had the chance to sit down with the founder of ProSchmoBets—read the interview below for more on what he had to say.
1. Can you describe your journey in MMA prediction markets and AI, and what led you to develop tools and systems to achieve winning results?
I saw the number $100,000,000 after reading U.S. government websites related to tax revenue in public sports betting handles. That did it for us. We realized the public was in great hysteria, nearly a gambling epidemic, and to help the public, we decided to develop tools, systems, and betting strategies to assist MMA bettors in combating this issue.
2. What is unfair about the current betting practices? Any of it particular to MMA?
We realized MMA bettors were stuck in a vortex of seeking high- or low-variance bets, depending on how much money they were willing to lose. It's how they get you. Low variance means safer, smaller, and steadier wins and losses. High variance can mean bigger wins but also a greater chance of losing a lot. In simple terms, if you want less surprise and steadier results, choose low-variance bets. If you can handle bigger ups and downs and want bigger payoffs, choose high-variance bets. Of course, we thought this was unfair, especially considering sports rigging scandals and all, so we ventured to create tools and a system to become a disruptor in betting variance, where results can be more steady and less wild for MMA bettors.
3. Cullinan 1 seems pivotal in extracting real-time insights from social media. Can you explain how your team ensures data accuracy, ethics, and privacy compliance while using such open-source information?
Cullinan I is a powerful tool, but it’s built on transparency. We only pull data that’s publicly shared and cross-verify it through multiple benchmarks before it’s factored into our models. On the ethical side, we’ve implemented internal protocols inspired by global AI standards to ensure user privacy and data integrity remain uncompromised.
4. ProSchmoBets already outperforms major AI systems like ChatGPT and Gemini in MMA forecasting. What underlying innovations in your model architecture or data training process make this possible?
The difference lies in specialization and data granularity. While large AI models are trained for breadth, ours is designed purely for MMA betting precision. We ingest unique real-time variables that general-purpose systems overlook—like dynamic cardio metrics, reaction-time analytics, and even kinetic data from training footage—to fine-tune our fight predictions continuously.
5. MMA is an unpredictable sport by nature. What challenges has your AI faced when factoring in human unpredictability—like last-minute injuries or mental fatigue—and how have you addressed them?
Human factors are the hardest variables. Injuries, fight-week stress, or cutting weight can reshape an outcome overnight. That’s why our models continuously update up until fight time, pulling social data, press quotes, and even biometric indicators where possible. We want the AI to “think” like a coach who’s been observing camp dynamics day-by-day.
6. You feature content across YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms that attracts industry professionals. How important is this multimedia presence for building trust and credibility within the MMA betting community?
Content is our bridge to the community. Our YouTube and Instagram channels let us showcase transparency—breaking down why a prediction was made, not just posting odds. When people can see the logic, they trust the process. That authenticity has drawn some of the biggest names in MMA to engage with what we do.
7. Looking ahead, how do you see AI-driven prediction models like yours influencing regulatory attitudes and the future of responsible sports betting?
AI shouldn’t just make betting smarter—it should make it safer. By improving accuracy and transparency, we reduce emotional, impulsive bets and promote analytical thinking. As regulators start engaging with AI-driven betting, models like ours will demonstrate how technology can elevate integrity, not threaten it.
