Zimbabwe-born, multi-award-winning entrepreneur and international business executive Chiedza Kambasha—widely known as “The Pitbull”—has carved out a formidable reputation as one of the continent’s highest-paid consultants and most strategic global investors. With interests spanning international real estate, agriculture, technology, healthcare, mining, retail, and the beauty sector, she represents a rare blend of calculated precision and visionary expansion.

Rooted in legacy thinking and driven by global foresight, Kambasha’s investment footprint stretches across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East—strategically positioned in markets such as Zimbabwe, Zanzibar, South Africa, Mozambique, the UAE, Monaco, London, and Switzerland. Her philosophy is clear: wealth must be structured, protected, and designed to outlive you.

From commercial real estate and student accommodation to residential townhouse developments, she approaches 2026 with one focus—elevation, intensified structure, and peace across all areas of her life. In this candid conversation, Chiedza opens up about legacy building, balancing motherhood with empire-building, entering real estate through generational influence, her thoughts on Africa as the next frontier, and why she believes money—when structured correctly—absolutely does bring happiness.

Bold, strategic, and unapologetically ambitious, this is Chiedza Kambasha in her own words.

International Real Estate Investment — Why now?

Investment security, legacy building, and heritage structuring.

Investment-wise, which are the best buys for 2026?

Commercial real estate, student accommodation, and residential townhouse complex structures.

Which are the top locations for investment?

I'm slightly conflicted in my response because Africa is booming and is the next frontier in terms of population growth and needs, but for 2026 I have invested mainly in Zimbabwe, Zanzibar, South Africa, Mozambique, the UAE, Monaco, London, and Switzerland. Monaco, London, and Switzerland are mainly because my children study there, so my investment-wise thought process was, “Do they pay expensive rentals when they finish studying?” I didn’t want that for them.

Have you considered entering the interior design space? If yes, tell us more, and if not, kindly share.

Well, it’s not a secret that I love design, art, and converting visionary structures to life, but to be honest, I don’t have the time. The most hands-on I’ve been in the interior design sector was for my home because I live in it and I want to be inspired by intricate design that means something to me.

What are your plans for 2026?

Elevation, growth, peace, and intensified structure in all areas of my life.

Chiedza, tell us, how do you balance motherhood with your many roles across multi-spectrum sectors?

I just make it work. It’s not easy, but it works, and I have a great team that allows me to juggle both sides of the bridge.

Tell us how you entered the real estate sector?

My entry into real estate is a natural progression, given my father was heavily into real estate, and I watched him collate a diversified portfolio. He always hammered into my head that you can never go wrong with real estate, as it’s the one asset that is designed around reliable stability.

Now that you’re the busiest you’ve ever been, any plans on slowing down?

Slowing down — what do you mean? I’m at the stage in life where possibilities are infinite. The kids are fleeing the nest, and all the hopes, dreams, and plans that were in the mommy-hood cabinet are coming out now because I have more time and, energy-wise, I’m in the goal-getting phase.

Favorite destination, favorite food, favorite drink?

Uuummmmm, ok — destination would be St. Barts. Food — I’m a bit biased as I’m a seafood lover, a natural default setting from my childhood, of course. I love a good lobster Wellington and a lychee martini without a doubt.

Finally, does money make you happy?

Yes, it absolutely does, as it affords you convenience, access, and unrestricted choice.
